Payments currently operate in Stripe sandbox/test mode only. No real money is charged. The operator’s full legal identity and business contact address must be confirmed and published before paid public launch.
What the service does
LOLER Quote is a marketplace connecting customers who need LOLER inspections/thorough examinations with independent inspection providers. Submitting an enquiry is free and does not book an inspection or oblige you to appoint or pay a provider.
We make enquiries available to eligible providers based on their selected postcode coverage and equipment categories. We do not guarantee that a provider will quote, win the work, attend or complete an inspection. Matching does not confirm availability, suitability or competence for your particular equipment.
Your enquiry and your choice
Provide accurate information and have permission to submit it on behalf of your business or the relevant customer. Do not submit fictitious requests, another person’s details without authority, unlawful material or unnecessary sensitive information.
Up to three eligible providers may independently purchase access to the same enquiry and contact you about it. Contact information remains protected until that provider’s purchase is confirmed. See our Privacy Policy. You remain free to appoint any provider, seek other quotes or appoint nobody. Contact us if your requirement changes or you want your enquiry closed.
Independent providers and inspections
Provider approval is approval to access and use the LOLER Quote platform only. It does not constitute technical certification, accreditation, endorsement or a guarantee of competence, insurance or work quality.
Providers are responsible for ensuring they are competent, appropriately qualified/experienced and insured for the services and equipment categories they offer, and for their statutory compliance, prices, quotations, attendance, inspections and reports. Customers and dutyholders remain responsible for satisfying themselves that the provider they appoint is competent for the specific examination or work required. LOLER Quote does not undertake the customer’s statutory dutyholder responsibilities. Before appointing one, check its suitability, insurance and proposed scope. Agree costs, dates, payment, cancellation and report arrangements directly with it. Any inspection contract is between you and that provider. Your own statutory duties as equipment owner, employer or dutyholder are not transferred to LOLER Quote by submitting an enquiry.
If the founder offers an inspection separately, that quotation and contract must identify the inspection business and remain separate from the marketplace service.
Lead access prices
Lead access prices vary by enquiry and the price will always be shown before purchase. Lead access buys customer enquiry/contact details and an opportunity to quote, not a guaranteed job. Inspection fees are agreed separately with the provider.
Fair use and issues
Do not misuse accounts, scrape protected information, impersonate someone, interfere with the service or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing. Service availability and enquiry accuracy cannot be guaranteed at all times. Report errors or suspected misuse so we can investigate.
For enquiries, complaints, privacy requests or lead-access issues, email enquiries@lolerquote.co.uk. Include your enquiry or purchase reference where available; do not email passwords or card details.
Rights and changes
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any responsibility or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Customers retain any applicable statutory rights. Independent-provider responsibilities do not remove our responsibility for our own marketplace service.
Providers should also read the Provider Terms and Refund/Credit Policy. Updates will be dated on these pages and will not retrospectively remove rights relating to earlier purchases. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
