Provider Terms
Payments currently operate in Stripe sandbox/test mode only. No real money is charged. The operator’s full legal identity and business contact address must be confirmed and published before paid public launch.
Applications and access
Provider accounts are for independent engineers and inspection businesses acting for business purposes. Apply using genuine business details and your business email. Manual approval is required; an application or login does not grant approved platform access. Keep your business details, coverage and competencies accurate and tell us if they change. Keep your login private.
Provider approval is approval to access and use the LOLER Quote platform only. It does not constitute technical certification, accreditation, endorsement or a guarantee of competence, insurance or work quality. You must not present platform approval as a professional credential or a guarantee of your inspection service. Customers and dutyholders remain responsible for satisfying themselves that the provider they appoint is competent for the specific examination or work required. LOLER Quote does not undertake the customer’s statutory dutyholder responsibilities.
What you purchase
You purchase access to the relevant customer enquiry/contact details and an opportunity to quote, not a guaranteed job, customer appointment or exclusive introduction. Review the postcode area, equipment, quantity and timeframe before choosing to buy. Lead access prices vary by enquiry and the price will always be shown before purchase. Check the displayed price for that enquiry before confirming. Historical purchases retain their recorded price.
Multiple eligible providers may independently buy the same enquiry, subject to the platform’s limit of three different providers. Your purchase does not give exclusive rights to the customer. Customers are free to choose any provider or none. We do not guarantee a reply, quotation request, award, attendance or inspection outcome.
Available promotional credit is applied first. Any remainder uses secure Stripe checkout. Contact details unlock after successful server-side purchase confirmation, including a purchase fully covered by promotional credit. Each provider sees its own purchases in its history. A saved payment method does not authorise unrelated charges. Stripe currently remains in test mode; no real money is charged.
Your professional responsibilities
You remain responsible for ensuring you are competent, appropriately qualified/experienced and insured for the services and equipment categories you offer. You are also responsible for independence and impartiality where required, statutory compliance, quotations, pricing, inspection arrangements, examinations and reports. Only accept work you are qualified and equipped to perform. Agree the inspection scope and contract directly with the customer and do not suggest LOLER Quote is the inspecting body or guarantees your work.
Customer information
Use purchased details only to assess and respond to the relevant enquiry and manage any resulting work. Do not resell, publish or pass them to other businesses for prospecting, or add customers to unrelated marketing lists. Protect them against unauthorised access; fulfil your own data-protection duties and respect customer contact preferences. Do not access another provider’s account or purchases.
Credits, disputes and platform use
Eligible newly approved businesses may receive a one-time £10 introductory promotional credit; approval without credit is possible. Multiple logins do not create an entitlement to repeated awards. Credit has no cash value and is not transferable or withdrawable. Existing recorded balances are not retrospectively reduced by this introductory offer.
The Refund/Credit Policy explains lead-access issues and review requests. Losing a quote or not hearing back is not, by itself, a reason for a refund. We may restrict access to address misuse, inaccurate applications or security risks. Restrictions do not remove accrued rights or justify keeping a payment where a remedy is legally due.
For enquiries, complaints, privacy requests or lead-access issues, email enquiries@lolerquote.co.uk. Include your enquiry or purchase reference where available; do not email passwords or card details.
Read these terms alongside the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Nothing here removes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Lead-access fees are separate from any inspection fees charged to customers.
